Florida operates with a policy of unrestricted access to police reports. All reports are fair game for media outlets. Often, the articles are subject to clickbaity headlines. From this, readers have adopted the stereotypical character ‘Florida Man’. He is infamous for doing the craziest things: breaking into their neighbors garage to make coffee, stealing exotic fish by stuffing them into their pants, and trying to us a taco as an id. Each of the postcards in the series illustrates a real-life headline. This showcases the character of the Florida Man as well as the absurdity that comes out of our home state.
